Ipico Sports Announces Agreement With Times-7Timing company will be exclusive distributor for New Zealand and AustraliaPeoria, Ill.—IPICO Sports announced an agreement with Times-7 for the exclusive distribution of IPICO Sports timing systems for the countries of New Zealand and Australia. Times-7 will support the local sales efforts in addition to providing customer training, equipment warranty support and spare parts. IPICO Sports’ next generation turnkey tracking and timing solutions are used in the global active sports and wellness markets. Since its launch in March 2007, the company has experienced strong market demand, evidenced by shipments made to 14 countries. Times-7 is a provider of sports timing solutions, including systems for data capture and information technologies. The company recently successfully supported the Levine Half Marathon in Taupo, New Zealand, providing start times, halfway split and finish times with 3,000 competitors with 100 percent accuracy. “Our team has extensive experience in timing solutions for active sports, and the partnership with IPICO Sports is the next step in the evolution of our company’s expansion,” said Times-7 CEO Antony Dixon. “We are excited to complete the partnership agreement and believe our customers in the Australia and New Zealand regions will benefit tremendously from our experienced team and software solutions coupled with the IPICO Sports timing systems.” IPICO Sports CEO Mark Herbst called Times-7 the ideal partner. “This agreement with Times-7 is a culmination of our discussions over the past several months,” he said. “We wanted to ensure we chose a distribution partner that would ensure that all potential customers in both countries would be presented with the opportunity to learn about the benefits of our solutions.” |
