Ipico Sports Announces Agreement With
The End Result Company, Inc.

Timing Company Will Switch to IPICO Sports Systems

Peoria, Ill.—IPICO Sports announced an agreement with The End Result Company Inc. for a large initial purchase of Radio Frequency Identification timing systems and Sportags™ to be used in the running and multi-sport events End Result times across the United States. The company will migrate all of its timing services over to the IPICO Sports systems for data capture and information management solutions.

IPICO Sports’ next generation turnkey tracking and timing solutions are used in the global active sports and wellness markets. Since an initial market introduction in March 2007, IPICO Sports has received a strong positive response from global markets. IPICO Sports systems were successfully used in May 2007 at the BolderBOULDER 10 km running, one of the world’s top five largest running events.

The End Result Company is a leading provider of timing, registration, information management and communication solutions to over 300 events in the United States—including the Boston Marathon and Chicago Marathon—with total participants of more than 500,000.

“Our company’s philosophy is to remain at the forefront of solutions provided to our customers—and we believe that the IPICO Sports integrated systems will allow us to continue to provide value to our customers,” said End Result owner Mike Ducy. “This agreement is the culmination of many months of discussion with IPICO Sports where we had the opportunity to get to know everyone and view their systems in use. I’m not only pleased with the equipment’s ease of use and accuracy, but also the fact that as a timing company we will now be able to own our own set of RFID timing tags, eliminating the time delay for organizing rentals, and resulting in better service to our customer base.”

IPICO Sports CEO Mark Herbst said the companies share similar business philosophies. “We both always seek to provide greater value through advanced technological solutions and keep an open mind by being able to adjust to changing market needs,” said Herbst. “We view the partnership with Mike as just the beginning of a long lasting relationship, with additional developments to be announced in the future that will benefit participants, race directors, spectators and the media in running and multi-sports.”
