IPICO Sports and BolderBOULDER Extend Partnership
BOULDER, CO.—IPICO Sports and BolderBOULDER, which launched a strategic partnership in October 2006, have announced an extension of the partnership through 2011.
The IPICO Sports integrated data capture system was successfully used in the 2007 BolderBOULDER 10 km running race. The race is currently one of the five largest running events in the world. This year IPICO Sports system provided data at the start, finish and for each mile split to each participant wearing a Sportag™.
“We are very pleased with the close partnership we have formed with IPICO Sports this past year and look forward to a long-term arrangement that is very beneficial to the race and all participants,” said race director Cliff Bosley.
IPICO Sports CEO Mark Herbst said the company appreciates the continued confidence that BolderBOULDER is demonstrating with the extension. “We believe a new level of performance was established in this year’s event with the introduction of our timing system, and we will continue to add new features in the years to come that ultimately will benefit the race and its participants,” Herbst said.
