Nike Run Americas 10k Mexico City A Huge
Success Using Ipico Sports Technology

Peoria, Ill.—IPICO Sports equipment and technology successfully timed nearly 22,000 finishers in the Nike Run Americas 10k in Mexico City, Mexico, on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.

Participants in their blue race T-shirts turned the streets into a sea of blue. Souvenir IPICO Sports Sportags™—branded with the Nike 10k logo—adorned their running shoes. They enjoyed delightful weather and a beautiful course through one of the world's great cities.

A team of IPICO Sports customers in Mexico—Sport Promotion, Time, and IDEM Sport—partnered to produce times at the start, finish, and at two split points—at the 3k and 6k marks.

Philip Lockwood and Marco Antonio Liceaga
"We are delighted to work with IPICO Sports,” said event organizer Marco Antonio Liceaga, Director General of Sport Promotion. "Their equipment performed flawlessly, and their staff is a true partner in supporting our efforts.”

IPICO Sports' next generation tracking and timing solutions are used in the global active sports and wellness markets. Since an initial market introduction in March 2007, IPICO Sports (www.ipicosports.com) has shipped to 16 different countries and continues to develop a loyal following in the U.S. market.

IPICO Sports President and Chief Technical Officer Philip Lockwood, who attended the event in Mexico City, was pleased with the team effort. "It is a true honor to work with such great professionals as Marco Antonio and the entire Sport Promotion group,” Lockwood said. "This event reflected a terrific partnership of our customers in Mexico and it was a wonderful team effort to produce such a first-class, successful event.”

Following the event, Liceaga and Lockwood announced a five-year partnership for collaboration on future major events organized by Sport Promotion, with support from IPICO Sports technology.
