For customers of IPICO Sports in Mexico, Portugal, Spain and all of Central and South America, Arturo Linaldi needs little introduction. He’s the man responsible for the successful introduction of IPICO Sports to just about any country that speaks Portuguese or Spanish.
Arturo joined IPICO Sports in early 2006 – pre-revenue days for the company. With his background as athlete manager and consultant to races in Latin America, Arturo was the optimum person to lead IPICO Sports’ efforts in those regions. He has the contacts, relationships and understanding to truly develop these previously underserved markets. Arturo believes his mission is to enable “his Clients” – event organizers and timers – to have access to technology that allows them to time their event accurately and reliably. Customers in these regions especially appreciate dealing directly with an employee of the company rather than a designated agent. “Since our products are affordable and easy to use, it has helped me introduce technology to customers that were previously neglected,” states Arturo. “We’ve made a great difference to these customers. It’s my mission to help these clients succeed.”
Arturo has been faced with some unique challenges. The buying process for many of these customers is limited by lower-valued currencies and obstacles for importation including: shipping and logistics, duties, additional paperwork and local governmental limitations on imports. Nonetheless, Arturo is committed to his mission of helping his customers succeed and grow.
